Dementia Care Partnership (DCP) is a registered Newcastle based charity which provides local services for people with dementia of all ages, older people including people from the black and minority ethnic communities with functional mental illness (depression, anxiety states, etc), as well as the carers. Founded some 15 years ago, DCP has grown rapidly and has an international reputation. Like many businesses experiencing growth, DCP recognised the need to establish a business strategy and business vision that would allow the organisation to continue to successfully grow whilst engaging the challenges and opportunities of the changing market place for social care and independent living.
S2S were engaged to work with the CEO, senior management and Board to develop a five year business plan and identify the organisational structure required to secure DCP’s future. All our recommendations were accepted and a number of new Directorships have been appointed to help DCP realise their vision.
